Monday Funday Runday

First I will finish out with my thoughts from my last post. This week I have decided my schedule should be: Run on Monday and Tuesday due to weather considerations, and then Crossfit for the rest of the week. Now on to the good part.

I ran 6.3 miles tonight! I ran about the first 4 miles at around 9min/mile and finished off averaging about 10min/mile. It felt good to improve that much in only a few weeks. I feel the increase in endurance and can't wait to do it again faster tomorrow!

Below you will find my run results, which I will do from now on consistently. I was having trouble with My Tracks for Android, the program I use to record my track and so I was using a program that didn't allow exporting maps to Google. My Tracks has now been fixed with an update and is usable once more.

First WOD of the year

Today I started doing crossfit again. I plan to do crossfit three times a week and run twice. I will save Saturday for my rest day and Sunday will be long distance run day. I'm still deciding how to split up the week.

I have also been running and have gotten my miserable pace down below 9:30/mile for 4 miles. I hope to get my pace down below 9min miles and keep that pace for 13 miles. The Bearathon half marathon is coming up in March and I need to get up to speed with my teamates!

Today's WOD: Push Jerk 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

+100 sit-ups.

Starting back up

Well, I need to start back up. I've been running and can do 4 miles at around 9:30/mile. I can do a 10k non stop, but my pace is just embarrassing. I have signed up for the bearathon in March which is 13 miles, and I hope to pull off 9:30/mile at that. Also, tomorrow I start crossfitting again.
